Came here while on a road trip through Tucson based on a recommendation from a friend. The Sonoran dog was really good and they have fresh salsa varieties available. Enjoyed the authenticity of the food and service was friendly.

Good food at really good prices. Nothing fancy- get in, get your food, get out. You're there for the food not for the ambience. Had the Quesabirria and Tamarind Raspados, my friend had the Sonoran Dog and Mango Raspado. I saw several more things on the menu that I would try.

I've been a loyal patron of Jason's for over 10 years, and it's the only place in Tucson where I can get a super Caramelo. The Birria is exceptional, and I find myself returning specifically for these two dishes. While the Raspados are just okay, the Horchata is out of this world--one of the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly. I remember when they were just operating out of a food truck, and I'm really proud to see how far they've come. I'm a devoted fan and am excited to continue supporting this family-owned gem.

Hands down best Sonoran Hotdog and Chipilones in Tucson! That I've tried at least, I'm making the rounds to verify my claim, but so far Jason reigns supreme. I've had their caramel is, tostadas, tacos, quesadillas and their Lorenza, all fabulous. I brought my mom here after describing a Sonoran Hot dog and she turned he nose up to ordering one but got a couple of street tacos. When the food came she said, "what did you get, that hot dog?" I told her tot Ty it instead of reminding her she didn't want to try it. Needless to say, I had to order a replacement because she ate it and her tacos. She's 95lbs, at everything. Testament to how good Jason's is!

The best Sonoran dogs and the best carne asada I've ever tried! Their corn tortillas are also the most flavorful. The people are very friendly and will answer your questions with such kindness. It's a casual spot where you order at the counter and you're given an order number. They serve everything on disposable plates. It's basically the best spot on 22nd! Don't sleep on this place.

Yum! Had the loaded Sonora dog - Chipilon, and the Queso Birria taco. Very simple place. Great food- very fast. Hot! I hate cold food.

Best Sonoran hotdogs ever! Each ingredient is fresh and the bacon wrapped chili pepper on the side is always a welcome treat! The buns are perfect!

I listened to Lucy L. She was right, chipilon, HELLO! It's delicious! Fresh chopped tomatoes, great great flavor in the hot dog, nice soft bun, charred pepper wrapped in bacon, I mean, this was just a delight. So glad I got it. And yes of COURSE I also got a strawberry Raspado, with the ice cream mixed in, also QUITE delicious. No skimping on the chunks of fruit, delicious ice cream, nice wide straw, bubble top plastic cup, just a flavor explosion. And they are taking COVID seriously with the masking and distancing requirements but you can sit outside if you like. You just can't go wrong, I'm a fan!

Two words for you. Chipilon. Hotdog. Just order one and you'll thank me later. Taqueria y Raspados Jason has their Chipilon Dogs at $4.75. (Still cheaper than an LA Dirty Dog ya'll!!) Tucson is well known for their Sonoran Dogs but the Chipilon hot dog is an absolute game changer. A Chipilon dog is basically a standard Sonoran dog, but covered in ooey gooey cheese. The other standard ingredients included are pinto beans, bacon wrapped hotdog, mayo, mustard, and jalapeno sauce. Note: There are other establishments in Tucson who sell both hotdogs. However, options were limited during Christmas weekend due to store closures. Please check their websites and call stores to verify they're open during the holidays. Happy Eating!

Yes yes. They moved about 100 feet west. Do not miss it!!!! Want a Sonoran dog? Fully loaded? This is a great stand! Nice steamed bun. Bacon wrapped dog! All the fixings! Yes! The best part...or just another good part...bacon wrapped pepper! Yum. Tacos are good too! Outdoor set up is simple and covered! Lots of parking! No dirt floor. It is a paved floor. Eat out or take out. All good!
